Diagnostics Privacy Policy This page describes the privacy behavior of the Froomle Diagnostics Overlay browser extension. Privacy Policy The Froomle Diagnostics Overlay is a support and diagnostics tool for browser-based Froomle integrations. Its single purpose is to help users inspect and troubleshoot: frontend SDK initialization browser-side consent and identity state recommendation and event traffic benchmark behavior visible Froomle recommendation elements on a page What the extension accesses When you open a page, the extension may access browser-side information that is needed to provide diagnostics, including: the current page URL and hostname page DOM markers related to Froomle integrations, such as data-froomle-* attributes window.FroomleFrontendSdkRuntime when it is present on the page browser-visible request metadata for Froomle recommendation and event traffic browser-visible request bodies for Froomle recommendation and event traffic when available through extension APIs relevant first-party cookies and local browser storage values that are already used by the SDK or page integration for diagnostics, such as Froomle consent and browser identity values browser-visible consent-provider signals when the page exposes them What the extension sends externally The extension does not send inspected customer page data, recommendation payloads, event payloads, cookies, or local storage values to Froomle or to another analytics service. The current extension build performs one support-related outbound lookup: a request to the npm registry (registry.npmjs.org) to resolve the latest published @froomle/frontend-sdk version so the overlay can compare the page’s loaded SDK version against the latest public release No inspected page data is included in that version lookup. How data is used The extension uses accessed data only to: render diagnostics inside the overlay compare current page state with expected Froomle integration behavior help users troubleshoot SDK, consent, identity, request-domain, and benchmark issues The extension is not designed for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated analytics. Data retention The extension keeps most observed diagnostics state in memory while the browser tab or extension session is active. It does not intentionally persist inspected customer page data to a remote server. Some values may remain visible in the extension’s in-memory tab state until the tab is refreshed, navigated, or closed. Data sharing and sale The extension does not sell accessed data. The extension does not share inspected page data with third parties for purposes unrelated to diagnostics and support. Support For support related to the Froomle Diagnostics Overlay or browser integration diagnostics, use the Diagnostics support documentation at Support.
